…and we are back after a most enjoyable trip to Wichita Falls, TX. The next tee-shirt ride we will participate in is The OBS Streak on September 12th. So the training continues… . We are resuming our normal weekly rides for this week. With the HHH behind us, we are moving the Saturday morning ride time to 7:30 AM to ensure safety for all as the sun is not rising as early these days making it rather dark at 7:00 AM. This Saturday we will ride between 60 and 70 miles.

Well, well, well the time has come for the ride we probably all trained to ride starting the beginning of the riding season “The HHH”. Many of us will be in Wichita Falls, TX this weekend to participate in that ride. If you never experience several thousands of riders in one place at one time, if at all possible you should try and make it to at least one HHH ride. All level of riders participate in this event and there are several distances shorter than the 100 mile route. You must plan early for this event as the hotels in Wichita Falls fill quickly and if you wait it can be rather difficult or impossible to find a hotel room. With all that being said TCC will not hold the regularly scheduled rides on Thursday and Saturday. However, we will be back on schedule next week. The next ride we will participate in will be the OBS Streak, September 12th.

Well, another Saturday is upon us and it is time for another great TCC ride. Riding shorter appeared to help those who rode Spin Your Wheels last Saturday so we will ride comparatively short this Saturday. We will ride a 70 mile route but add a few extra hills for good measure. Remember next Saturday (August 28th) is the HHH and many of us will ride that ride. There will not be an official TCC ride on that Saturday.

In preparation for Spin Your Wheels, we will not have our normal Thursday and Saturday ride this week. I hope to see as many of you as possible in Bethany on Saturday. This is good ride and good training for the HHH in two weeks. We will be back to our normal schedule next week.
