Tinker Cycling Club Ride Info
Please Note: Check the ride info to the right for changing times!
Roadies
The road bikers meet at the Draper Marina on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4.30pm and Saturdays at 8am. We also have a fast ride that meets on Tuesdays at 530pm and Thursdays at 6pm.
All rides are no-drop rides, except for the fast rides. In other words, nobody gets left behind (you hammerheads are on your own!)
MTBers
The dirt riders meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Nu-Draper trailhead at 5pm, and on Sundays at the Clearbay trailhead near Lake Thunderbird at 1pm.
If you are looking to volunteer to be a MTB ride leader, let us know!
Local Routes
Here are the usual road routes we ride:
- Draper lap. A simple ride around Lake Draper. Just under 15 miles.
- Franklin loop. A good intermediate ride. Some hills, and some good rolling stretches for group riding. A little over 22 miles.
- “Neighborhood Ride”. Fun route that helps you get in shape for the Norman Conquest! This one clocks in at about 38 miles.
- Hill Ride. Very good hill workout. For intermediate or advanced riders. This section of road is a good foundation of our club “Goodbye To Summer” tour ride. 34 miles long.
- “Indian Store Ride”. A very good longer route—45 miles.
Other road ride maps can be found at the BLN website.
Our trail rides aren’t that organized. We go to the trailhead and see where the spirit takes us... A wonderful site that has all the local trail routes is the OEF website.
